USW to hold a rally for Cooper workers
ERJ staff report (TB)
Findlay, Ohio -- The United Steelworkers (USW) Local 207L will hold a rally Dec. 17 in support of unionised workers who have been locked out of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.'s Findlay tyre plant since Nov. 28 after rejecting the tyre maker's last and best offer for a new three-year labour pact.
The event is being held at 1 p.m. in Dorney Plaza at the Hancock County Courthouse in Findlay.
The USW has reported it is still in contract talks with the tyre maker.
