London -- Rubber prices recovered during the last week, but remained below $4 in Tokyo and Singapore. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed above yen 300, at yen 305 ($3.91) per kg on Monday 31 Oct. Shorter-dated prices also rose to close at yen 299.
In Singapore, SGX said RSS3 prices for March delivery closed at $3.97 amid light trading. TSR20 for delivery in March 2012 closed at $3.90.
In India, NMCE said November deliveries fell by over Rs4 to close at Rs 213 ($4.37) per kilo.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw November deliveries fall by a fraction of a yuan close at Yuan 28.3 ($4.45) per kilo.
