Conti to hire 1500 graduates this year

Hannover, Germany -- Continental AG said it plans to hire around 1500 graduates this year across the group as a while.

Heinz-Gerhard Wente, Continental's Executive Board member for Human Resources, in Hanover said on Tuesday, “This year we plan to hire around 1,500 university graduates and young professionals worldwide, including about 400 in Germany,”

Continental employs roughly 30,000 engineers in the areas of production and research & development. Of the close to 1,500 new hirings worldwide, approx. 1,200 will be from the engineering area and 300 from the commercial area.
