UK vehicle production dropped by 58% in January

UK – Car production in the UK has fallen by 58.7 percent in January, according to figures published by The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

Commercial vehicle production was down by 59.9 percent and 83.5 percent of car output from the UK was allocated for export, “a record for any January,” SMMT said 20 Feb.
