ERJ staff report (DS)
Singapore -- Visitors to TyrexpoAsia 09 will have the opportunity to join colleagues from the natural rubber side of the industry to debate key elements of the International Rubber Study Group's (IRSG) World Rubber Summit in Singapore next March. The theme for the Summit has now been announced as 'Global Demand and Supply: Facing the challenges in a rapidly changing world.'
The IRSG World Rubber Summit will take place on 23 and 24 March next year at the Singapore Expo Centre, while TyrexpoAsia runs from 24 to 26 March, at the same venue.
Attendance at the IRSG meeting is free to anyone who wishes to participate, although this year a special invitation is extended to Tyrexpo Asia delegates. IRSG draws its membership from 16 major rubber producing and consuming countries and the European Union, plus over 100 associate members from all kinds of rubber related companies around the world.
Belarusian tyre manufacturer Belshina, Deestone (Thailand), Luwa Air Engineering (Switzerland), Marangoni China, UK tyre distributor Tyreco and Protector Tyres (China) are among the latest names to have recently committed to the Tyrexpo Asia show.
