Michelin to raise truck & bus tyre prices in Asia-Pacific

Clermont-Ferrand, France -- Michelin is increasing truck and bus tyre prices sold in Asia Pacific up to 12 percent. This price increase will be implemented between July and September 2008.
This follows recent price increases that have been announced recently by the Group: up to 8 percent for Passenger car & light truck tires sold in the United States due to be implemented July 1; up to 8 percent for Truck & bus tyres sold in the United States effective April 1, and in Europe, price increase effective spring 2008 for both passenger car and truck tires up 3.5 percent to 3.9 percent.
