Nizhnekamskneftekhim boosts Nd-BR output

Nizhnekamsk, Tartarstan -- Russian chemical producer Nizhnekamskneftekhim said its output of neodymium-catalysed BR in 2007 was 15 percent higher than the figure in 2006.
The company said it has upgraded its production line, "The Plant implemented measures to stabilize the degassing systems and rubber finishing lines, to upgrade a return solvent regeneration unit, conducted pilot tests to improve a treatment process for DIBAH, a catalytic complex component, in removing solid impurities and to upgrade a catalytic complex. Additional polymerization batteries were involved in the operation."
