Sibur opens subsidiary in Germany
Krzhizhanovskogo, Moscow -- Sibur Tyres Holding has opened a subsidiary in Berlin, Germany, in an attempt to enter Western European markets.
The company said in a 25 July statement that it was “the growth of interest from European consumers†that made it decide to establish a subsidiary in the country, and it hopes that it will help it to optimise sales and distribution structure in Western Europe.
At the moment 25 percent of the company's production is exported to the Commonwealth of Independent States, countries of the Middle East, Western and Central Europe.
“Currently Sibur is actively developing and production is orientated not only at internal but also external markets,†said a spokesperson for the company in the statement.
