Bridgestone increases forecast for sales, income
Tokyo -Â Bridgestone Corp has increased its forecast for sales and profits for financial year 2007, based on a weaker yen and increased sales from the Bandag operations. The new predictions supersede the forecasts made on 20 Feb this year.
The company revised its full-year net sales forecast upward by about 8.8 percent, to Yen 3.35 million million (€20.156 million) from Yen 3.08 million million. It expects operating income to reach Yen 211 000 million, up from ¥191 000 million and net income to be ¥106 000 million compared with ¥90 000 million forecast
