Lanxess butyl strike finished on Monday
Zwijndrecht, Belgium -Â On June 18, 2007, the non-managerial employees of Lanxess Rubber NV based at the site in Zwijndrecht, Belgium, voted unanimously to return to work, thus ending their strike which had lasted just over one week. The company said butyl and halobutyl rubber production will now be resumed as quickly as possible.
A Union spokesman said the strike was over last week, with employees returning to work by Monday 18 June.
