Amherst, Massachusetts -Â A new report predicts healthy growth for runflat tyres, with volumes rising to 30 million by 2015 from around 7.4 million unts in 2006.
The report, Prospects for Run-Flat Tires, published by Notch Consulting, predicts demand will grow at 17 percent per year. The report notes that average prices for
run-flat tyres fell by 3.2 percent from 2000 through 2006, reflecting a broader product mix and economies of scale as production was scaled up.
