Study says China made 283 million tyres in 2005

Dublin, Ireland – A Chinese-language study based on data from the China Rubber Industry Association says China’s production of tyres in 2005 was 283 million units, up 18.7 percent over 2004. Exactly half of these – 142 million units – were radials.
