Goodyear/USW negotiation talks set to resume today
Akron, Ohio - Goodyear and United Steelworkers representatives plan to meet later today in Cincinnati to resume formal negotiations.
Goodyear's negotiating team returned to Cincinnati - the site of the contract talks - last Thursday (9 Nov) as the union and company both said last week they were open to talks.
No formal talks have taken place since 5 Oct., when the USW called a strike at 16 of Goodyear's North American plants, affecting about 15 000 employees.
