Goodyear launches Fortera with TripleTred technology
Akron, Ohio--Goodyear has introduced its new Fortera sport-utility vehicle tyre featuring TripleTred technology to a gathering of tyre dealers in Phoenix, Arizona.
The tyre is designed to provide traction on any type of surface in any type of weather, the company said.
The TripleTred technology was launched in 2003 with Goodyear's Assurance line of tyres. TripleTred encompasses three tread zones to match varying road and weather conditions.
The new tyre also includes Goodyear's Fortera premium utility package, which features a 60 000-mile limited treadwear warranty, a 30-day trial, roadside assistance, nationwide warranty, online DOT registration and Goodyear's garage programme for service reminders.
