Chemtura raises antioxidant prices

Middlebury, Connecticut — Chemtura and its subsidiary company, Great Lakes Chemical, have said prices for the company’s range of antioxidants will increase by up to 19 percent from 1 October.

The company blamed the increases on “sustained increases in raw material, energy and transportation costs; and to meet baseline profitability and an anticipated need for additional investment required to sustain these businesses”.
