Chemtura lifts flame retardant prices by up to 40 percent

Middlebury, Connecticut — Chemtura Corp. has announced worldwide price increases of up to 40 percent on its range of brominated flame retardants. The company said in a statement that “price increases of approximately 20%-40% ” will be implemented from 1 October, 2005, where contracts allow.
