Paris–The new Airbus A380 aircraft, unveiled to the public Jan. 18 in France, will carry tyres produced by Groupe Michelin, the tyre maker announced.
The tyres, built upon the company’s NZG (near-zero-growth) technology, are capable of carrying 33 tonnes at 234 miles per hour (375 km/hour) while achieving an overall reduction of 360 kg in the aircraft’s total weight, Michelin said.
