Indonesia boosts tyre production, exports

Jakarta--Indonesia's association of tyre producers says that the country has increased output of tyres to almost 30 milion units in the first 10 months of the year, compared with 25 million units in the same period last year.

Exports, it says are also up, to $381.75 million, an increase of 23 percent in the same period. The annual total may reach $400 million.
