Liveris to become Dow president and CEO

Midland, Michigan- Bill Stavropoulos is passing over his role as chief executive officer of Dow Chemical Co. to Andrew Liveris, the group’s current president and chief operating officer, with effect from 1 Nov. Stavropoulos will, however, remain as chairman of Dow, the company has announced.
