DSM Elastomers to close Chiba plant in September
DSM-Idemitsu has announced that it will close its EPDM plant in Chiba, Japan by September 30, 2004. This follows an earlier announcement from DSM that it is rationalising its current EPDM activities including closure of the Chiba Plant.
DSM Elastomers said it will continue to serve its customers in Asia with a full range of EPDM products, manufactured at the company's facilities in Geleen, The Netherlands and Triunfo, Brazil. The company sells its EPDM products under the Keltan trade name.
