Bridgestone African subsidiary feels free trade pinch

Firestone East Africa faces a series of problems, and the new managing director is only one month in post. The company is seeing large price reductions in agricultural tyre imports, due to tax changes, and simultaneously is trying to build a network of equity-owned sales outlets in the east African trade area.
