Rubber pad in shopping trolley helps bad backs
A re-design of the humble shopping trolley has introduced a rubber shelf within the trolley. The shelf distorts as it is loaded with goods, allowing the shopper to fill the trolley, but as the goods are unloaded, the rubber brings those last items back to the top of the trolley, saving back strain when lifting heavy items from the bottom of the trolley.
