Strong results from Cooper based on Auto parts, not tyres
Cooper Tire & Rubber has announced profits rose by $5 million in the final quarter of 2003, to $28 million Profits in the tyre division fell due to increased raw materials costs. Strong growth in the automotive components division more than offset this decline, the company said.
