Solvay to hike prices on TPO lines

Auburn Hills, Michigan-Solvay Engineered Polymers Inc. will increase prices 1 Oct for its lines of thermoplastic polyolefin materials. Prices will be raised by $0.05/lb for truckload-volume purchases and by $0.07/lb for less-than-truckload orders, the company said.
The increases apply to all of the firm's TPO lines marketed under the brand names Dexflex, Sequel, Dexpro and Indure. The new price levels do not apply to the NexPrene or Respond families of vulcanised thermoplastic elastomers, Solvay Engineered Polymers said.
