Dichtomatic adds O-ring business with American Seal acquisition
Plymouth, Michigan--Freudenberg-NOK has acquired the assets of American Seal Inc. of Houston. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Freudenberg made the acquisition through Dichtomatik , the US division of its wholly-owned subsidiary, International Seal Company, Inc.
The new acquisition will substantially increase Dichtomatik's O-ring product line with more than 12,000 sizes and materials, said the company in a press statement. Dichtomatic will also use American Seal's Houston facility to improve regional distribution of its full product range to the south central US market.
