UK foam specialist mixes with the best
ERJ staff report (PRW)
Blackburn, UK – Silicone sponge manufacturer SFS has “significantly boosted” its production capacity with the acquisition of a Winkworth Machinery Z blade mixing machine, reports PRW.
The increased productivity has resulted in the company being able to reduce prices as well as offering a faster service.
"What would have taken us an hour to mix previously now takes 12 minutes at the most with the new machine," said SFS director David Sargent.
SFS's production facilities were also substantially increased in May last year when the company acquired the assets of Blackburn-based Advanced Silicone, another specialist manufacturer of silicone sponge products.
