Minardi boss gives his version of Indianapolis events
Faenza, Italy-- Paul Stoddart, head of the Bridgestone-shod Minardi F1 team has published a detailed statement of his recollection of the events at Indianapolis last weekend. In the statement he calls for the resignation of Max Mosley, president of the FIA, on grounds of no confidence.
Stoddart makes it clear that he feels a compromise could--and should-- have been reached on Sunday, but for the intransigence of certain parties in the F1 organisation. "There is no question in my mind that the farce that occurred on Sunday, June 19, 2005 at Indianapolis was the responsibility of the FIA President, Max Mosley, and compounded by the lack of support from Jean Todt," said Stoddart.
