K show passes all expectations in visitor numbers
Düsseldorf, Germany -Organisers of the K2007 show report that visitor numbers exceeded all expectations during the eight days of the exhibition, which closed on Wednesday.
This year, roughly 242 000 trade visitors attended the K show, around 11 000 more than the previous event, K2004. Of these, around 57 percent came from outside Germany. In total 100 countries were represented, from places as far-flung as Ethiopia, Botswana, Kazakhstan and Yemen.
Of the 138 000 international visitors, around 55 percent were based in Europe and 45 percent from further afield. Around 30 000 were from Asia, up from 23 000 since 2004.
The next K in Düsseldorf will be from 27 October to 3 November 2010.
