ERJ staff report (DS)
Dublin, ireland -- Two new reports claim to analyse China's chemicals industry.
The first of these, Aniline and Nitrobenzene Industry in China predicts a surplus of aniline in China in the near future. The 120-page report was first published by CCM International in January 2008 and is available for Euro 5500 depending on delivery options. In the report, the publishers say, "In recent years, the consumption pattern of aniline in China has changed. Dyestuff industry, the largest consumption field of aniline, lags behind the MDI industry and rubber auxiliaries industry."
The second, titled, China Chemical Industry Report, 2007-2008 says, "Now that industries with high energy waste and serious pollution are improving, the competitive structure of the chemical industry will change." The 80-page report was first published in January 2008 by Research in China and is available for about Euro 1400, depending on delivery options.
ERJ has not seen either report and can make no judgement about their value or the quality of the research.
