Michelin updates analysts' forecasts ahead of results on Friday

Paris -- Just ahead of its annual results meeting on Friday, Michelin has updated its summary of analysts' preditions.
The consensus is that net sales will be close to Euro 17 000 million, with a spread of just 300 million up and down. The analysts estimate operating income of Euro 1720 million, but with a wide spread ( from €1463 million up to €1812 million)
For 2008, the analysts expect sales to increase to around, Euro 17 700 million, but again with a wide spread. For operating income, the analysts expect to see figures around €1770 million.
For the full year 2009, the estimates again c=vary widely, but the consensus shows sales of around Euro 18 300 million and operating profit of around €2100 million.
