NR futures fall after reaching $3 / kg

Tokyo -- NR futures for August delivery fell back on Tuesday after opening at ¥324.2 ($3.004) / kg. The benchmark 6-month contract closed 12 points down, at ¥312.2.
In Singapore, RSS1 for delivery in January 2009 closed at Sing$4.065 ($2.90) after opening at Sing$4.115 ($2.93) per kilo. RSS3 also declined to $2.85, after opening at $2.90.
