Dow Reichhold raising prices for NBR, SBR latex
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina -- Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex L.L.C. is raising prices for nitrile and styrene-butadiene latex.
The company said it will boost the price worldwide for NBR latex used in glove manufacturing by 10 cents per dry pound. The increase takes effect Sept. 1.
On Aug. 8, Dow Reichhold will raise the price for SB specialty latex sold in North America by 6 cents per wet pound, and 3 cents per wet pound for all other latexes, except for those used in glovemaking.
Raw material price increases are behind the price hikes, the supplier said.
