JB Kim named president of Kumho Tire USA
Rancho Cucamonga, California -- South Korea's Kumho Tire Co. Inc. has appointed J.B. Kim president of its Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. subsidiary, succeeding D.H. Ham, who continues as CEO of Kumho Tire North America.
Mr. Kim, with Kumho since 1986, most recently oversaw the company's sales efforts in Latin America, where he is credited with doubling Kumho's sales there. Prior to that he was in various original equipment and replacement market sales positions in the Middle East and Europe.
Mr. Kim will be based at Kumho Tire U.S.A.'s headquarters in Rancho Cucamonga.
Kumho did not give a reason for the change.
Mr. Ham had been president of Kumho Tire U.S.A. since January 2007. Kumho Tire North America comprises both Kumho Tire U.S.A. and Kumho Tire Canada Inc.
