Conti makes personnel changes at corporate level
Hanover, Germany -- Continental AG has moved three executives into different positions to “further strengthen the exchange between the original equipment (OE) and replacement market business,†the company said.
On 1 Sept., Nikolai Setzer became head of the company's replacement passenger and light truck tyre market for Europe and Africa. In addition, he will be responsible for worldwide marketing of the passenger and light truck tyre division along with Alan Hippe, Conti's vice chairman of the executive board, to whom he will report.
Mr. Setzer replaces Karlheinz Evertz, who has assumed management of Conti's worldwide OE passenger and light truck tyres business. He continues to report to Mr. Hippe.
Hartmut Wohler, who was previously in charge of Conti's European commercial business within its ContiTrade business unit, on Aug. 1 became head of marketing and sales for the passenger and light truck tyre replacement market in Europe and Africa. He will now report to Mr. Setzer.
