Conti restructures tyre management in Germanic countries

Hanover, Germany -- . Continental Reifen Deutschland GmbH, has restructured its management structure for the Germanic countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland, or D/A/CH).
Frank Jung, 50 takes up the newly-created post of responsibility for sales activities in Germany within the Passenger Tire Replacement D/A/CH market organization, effective February 1, 2010. He reports to Norbert Busch, 47. He moves from Vergölst. Busch will now concentrate on strategic development of the D/A/CH region.
Roland Welzbacher, 40, took charge of the Austrian market organization in January.
In a parallel development, Jürgen Marth, 41, currently head of the Two Wheel Tire business unit, assumes the post of general manager at Vergölst.
Constantin Batsch, 38, will be taking on Marth's former job as head of the Two Wheel Tire business group.
“The management changes announced today rigorously carry forward in personnel matters as well our long-term passenger tire strategy of more tightly tying in our industry and trade know-how,†declared Nikolai Setzer, 38, head of the Passenger and Light Truck Tires Division and member of the Continental AG Executive Board.
