Preston, UK -- Chemical Innovations Ltd has developed a new one-component bonding agent designed specifically to bond peroxide-cured silicone, fluorosilicone, fluoropolymer, and HNBR elastomers to metal and fabric substrates. .
The new agent, Cilbond 36 will also bond platinum-cured silicones and bis-phenol-cured or bis-amine-cured fluoropolymers, acrylics and AEM compounds. .
The company says the bonding agent offers exceptional temperature performance -- up to 400 hours at 225ºC or over 1000 hours at 200ºC. The product is also non-wiping, making it suitable for all rubber moulding methods, including injection moulding.
