Beijing China -- China's State Reserve Bureau is to sell a further tranche of 30 000 tonnes of rubber on 23 April in Beijing. The organisation held its first auction on 14 April.
The first batch of rubber was relatively old, but this batch contains nearly 4000 tonnes of Hainan and Yunnan rubber from 2009, though the sellers notes there is some mould damage. The remainder is Thai rubber, and all around 10 years old, but in good condition.
In the 14 April auctinon, the average transaction price was 25,020 yuan ($3665) per ton, the highest closing price of 26,000 yuan per ton, and the lowest closing price was 22,220 yuan per ton.
