Portage Precision Polymers to boost mixing capacity
ERJ staff report (TB)
Ravenna, Ohio -- Portage Precision Polymers Inc. plans to add a second Banbury line to its Ravenna custom-mixing facility.
The addition of this internal mixing line will more than double the volume capabilities at the facility, according to the company. Current capacity is about 25 million pounds per year, PPP said, and the new capacity is expected to be about 60 million pounds per year.
PPP specialises in formulating compounds and regularly mixes all standard polymers, as well as FKM and HNBR, for extrusion and moulding operations, the company said.
