Lanxess raises chloroprene prices

Leverkusen, Germany -- Lanxess AG is to increase its prices for CR (chloroprene rubber) effective fourth quarter 2010. Dependent on regions, the price adjustment will be up to EUR 525 / USD 700 per metric ton.
The company blamed increased costs of feedstock and energy.
