Bluestar Silicones raises European prices

Lyon, France – Bluestar Silicones will raise its prices for silicones in Europe as of 1 April.
The increases will stand between 4 and 10 percent and will be adapted to product groups and markets. They are caused by rising utilities costs and raw material prices. The measure will ensure that the Bluestar Silicones continues to provide “sustainable high-quality products and services”.
Product groups affected include silicone elastomers, silicone sealants and silicone fluids.
A subsidiary of China National Bluestar Corp, Bluestar Silicones’ turnover is around €600m and it employs nearly 3,000 people throughout the world.
