BST pick contractor for Thai NBR plant

Bangkok -- Bangkok Synthetics Co., Ltd subsidiary, BST Latex has awarded and engineering contract to Thai Woo Ree Engineering to help construct the 110 000 tonne/year nitrile rubber latex plant it is building in the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate in Thailand's Rayong province.
The plant is due to begin production from Q3 2012.
BST expects to source butadiene from its own corporate suppliers, but will buy acrylonitrile from a local manufacturer, in the same Industrial Zone.
