CMA raises prices on Double Coin tyres 13 percent
ERJ staff report (TB)
Monrovia, California -- China Manufacturers Alliance L.L.C. (CMA) raised prices 13 percent on Double Coin- and private-brand truck tyres and Douible Coin radial OTR tyres, effective March 1.
“Rising energy prices effecting raw materials and transportation costs continue to adversely inflict pricing pressures on tyre manufactures and marketers,†CMA Vice President Aaron Murphy said. “Due to these factors, we are initiating a general price increase, with some in-line changes.â€
The price increases apply to the Double Coin truck and bus radial tyres, all private brand truck/bus radial tyres handled by CMA and Double Coin radial OTR tyres.
Monrovia-based CMA, a subsidiary of China's Double Coin Holdings Ltd., handes several associate brands alongside the Double Coin brand, including Warrior, Dynatrail, Dynacargo, Dynastar, Bluestar and Superhawk. The price change does not affect these brands, CMA said.
