JSR re-starts Kashima EPDM line

Kashima, Japan -- JSR Corp said it is re-starting the EPDM line at its Kashima plant today (20 May). The plant has been off-line since the 11 March earthquake.
In a brief statement, the comapny said, "The main raw material supplier resumed the production on May 20th and raw materials are available now. Today, we start the production of EP rubber (ethylene propylene rubber) and other products, which has been stopped. We are back on line to be able to manufacture all products. "
The company said it will doits utmost to ensure the line is stabilised and makes a wide range of products.
