Michelin, Goodyear win tyre contracts from US DoD

Columbus, Ohio -- The US Defense Logistics Agency has awarded two large contract for tyre supply to Goodyear and Michelin respectively.
The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., Akron, Ohio, was awarded a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for a maximum $61,409,317 for pneumatic tyres. The date of performance completion is Sept. 22, 2013. The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, Columbus, Ohio, is the contracting activity (SPM7LX-11-D-0166).
Michelin North America, Inc., Greenville, S.C., was awarded a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for a maximum $35,987,004 for pneumatic tyres. The date of performance completion is Sept. 22, 2013. The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, Columbus, Ohio, is the contracting activity (SPM7LX-11-D-0165).
