Sri Lanka's RRIL to get new building

Colombo, Sri Lanka -- Sri Lanka's government has approved a request from the Agalawatta Rubber Research Institute to construct a new building at Agalawatta at a total cost of Rs.34 million with funds to be provided in 2011 and 2012.
As justification, the Institure said, "Rubber growers and related personnel in the rubber industries as well as students of Universities, Technical Institutions and schools visit this institute located at Agalawatta regularly to acquire research and technical know- how pertaining to rubber cultivation and manufacturing of rubber finished products."
