NR prices end rally with declines in Tokyo, Singapore

London -- Rubber prices dropped overnight, ending the recent rally. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading down by 6 yen at yen 317 ($4.16) per kg a few minutes before the close of trading on Friday 27 January. Shorter-dated prices fell below yen300, to trade at yen 299 before the close.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 10 cents at $3.78 for June deliveries and down 9 cents at $3.74 for February deliveries a few minutes before the close on Friday.
In India, NMCE said February deliveries were unchanged to close at Rs 194 ($3.87).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for March was unchanged at Yuan 28.2 ($4.47) per kilo.
