Michelin names Rockwell as preferred automation supplier

Clermont-Ferrand, France - Michelin Group has signed a four-year agreement that makes Rockwell Automation its preferred partner for industrial automation and controls covering all of the tyre manufacturer's production plants worldwide.
Michelin Group chief procurement officer Luc Minguet explains that the agreement covers product supply, automation projects, electrical enclosures manufacturing and Rockwell Automation training services, support and repair globally.
"We are pleased to consolidate our relationship with Rockwell Automation. The agreement changes their status from a Michelin supplier to a preferred partner," said Minguet.
