Continental publishes annual report

Hannover - Continental has published its annual report, in which it focuses on trust, core values and mega-trends.
In addition, the company publishes the remuneration of its board members. Nikolai Setzer, head of the rubber group was paid a total of euro 1.82 million in 2011, down from euro 1.99 million in 2010.
The company said it aims to be in the top three in all markets in which it participates. That includes tyres.
Conti said it generates 27 percent of sales from the OE segment in passenger and light truck tyres, compared with 73 percent from the replacement segment.
In the truck division, the split is 22/78 between OE and replacement.
At ContiTech, the split is 53/47 between vehicle makers and other industries, including customers in tier-1 and in replacement sales
