Scholz to retire from Desma

Fridingen, Germany - Dr. Bernd Scholz is retiring from his position as managing director of Desma Elastomertechnik after 21 years. Dr Scholz leaves the company at the end of March. He is succeeded by Dr. Harald Zebedin, who takes up the position as Managing Director with responsibility for the engineering sector from 1 April.
Martin Schürmann retains his position as managing director with responsibility for sales and marketing activities.
Dr. Zebedin being from Graz studied and took his doctoral degree at the technical university of Vienna and started his career at AVL in Graz, Austria, which develops power-train systems. This was followed by jobs in both the electrical and the automobile industry at VA Tech and Magna Powertrain. Since mid-2005 Zebedin has been area director and member of the management board at the company Battenfeld-Cincinnati located in Vienna, Austria.
