Goodyear India sees sales, profits fall in Q1

Haryana, India - Goodyear India, which makes mainly agricultural tyres, has reported slightly lower sales and lower profits for the three months to 31 March 2012.
The company said net revenues in the period fell to Rs 3311 million (euro 47.8 million) from Rs 3372 million a year ago.
Operating profit declined to Rs 141 million from Rs 200 million. Net profit stood at Rs 109 million, down from 138 million a year earlier
